How to unlock your new Citi Credit Card online

First and foremost, thank you for applying for a Citi Credit Card. If you are on this page, chances are that you are yet to receive your card and want to know if there are alternate ways of making card payments. You are in luck, because thanks to Citibank Online, that is now possible.

While we assure you that we are working with our courier partners to get your card delivered to you on priority, we are restricted in our movements by government regulations in these unusual times. Therefore, please expect a delay in our courier services.

Meanwhile, we do not want you to miss our special online offers as you stay, work, and shop from home. Our team has worked tirelessly over the last few weeks to bring to you a new feature that enables you to access your new card details online until you receive the physical card. All you have to do is to visit, access your digital card and pay for essentials, entertainment, utilities, wallet recharges and more.

Step 1: Login to your Citibank Online account with your User ID and Password


Step 2: Go to ‘View Card details’ under ‘Manage cards’ in the left menu

Step 3: Enter the OTP sent on your registered mobile

Authenticate OTP, post which you will be able to view your card number, expiry and CVV. By tapping ‘View details’, you agree to the listed Terms & Conditions:

Please note that if you enter OTP wrongly thrice, your access will be blocked for 24hrs and you will only be able to view your details post the 24hrs period.

Step 4: That’s it! Details of your new card are displayed

This functionality is currently available only on Citibank Online.

If you don’t have a Citibank Online User ID and Password, please create one to access your card details by going to ‘First Time User? Register Now’.

Please note, if your current card is blocked, you will not be able create a new User ID/Password. Similarly, this feature is only available for renewed/reissued/upgraded cards generated post March 1, 2020, that have not yet been delivered due to government restrictions owing to COVID-19. For safety reasons, it is not applicable to your existing cards.

Once logged in you will be able to view your new renewed card 5 days before your old card expires while any reissued or upgraded card can be viewed instantly. You will be able to use your new card details for all your online transactions, wallet recharges, utility bill payments, and for Samsung Pay provisioning. However, to prevent compromise of your new card, we have restricted the copy paste functionality of card details.

You can continue using your virtual card until your physical card is delivered to you. The card details (card number, expiry, and CVV) for both, i.e. your physical and digital card, will be the same.
