This product comes to you with a choice of Silver, Gold and Platinum plans and is available as an individual health insurance or as a family floater plan.

Benefits

Master Product (Total Health Advantage) covers you every time, where your hospitalisation period exceeds 24-hours. On signing up, you will receive a personal Health Card that provides you to access the cashless facility in 3000 network hospitals across 66 cities in India. This facility, available subject to conditions, enables you to undergo treatment in any of these hospitals and walk out without paying your bills. Simply call the 24-hours Third Party Administrator Toll free helpline 1800-345-3322 and take an authorisation. Royal Sundaram General Insurance Company will settle all bills directly with the hospital.

  • All the members of the family Self, Spouse, children and Dependent Parents can be covered under one single policy.
  • No need to insure individual family members separately.
  • No hassles of tracking renewal for different members.
  • 10% family savings will be provided if more than 3 family members are covered in the same plan.
  • Under a Floater sum insured a Single Premium is payable for entire family and the amount of sum assured 'FLOATS' over the entire family.
  • The benefit is available for normal delivery or cesarean section.
  • The benefit is only available in Silver Plan.
  • For each completed 24-hours of hospitalisation, the daily benefit towards incidental expenses, without necessity of submission of proof for spending, shall become payable as per plan.
  • This benefit follows admitted liability under hospitalisation benefit. However claims for pre-existing disease shall not have the hospital cash benefit.
  • The daily benefit is payable for a maximum period of 30 days per year.
  • Under the floater Sum Insured option, this benefit shall be applicable 30 days per year per family.

You can avail of tax exemption up to Rs.55,000 Under Sec 80D on the premium paid by you towards Master Product (Total Health Advantage). (Premium paid on behalf of yourself, your spouse, your dependent children is exempt up to Rs.25,000. Premium paid on behalf of your dependent parents is exempt up to an additional Rs.25,000 and if they are senior citizens the benefit is extended up to Rs.30,000). This is as per the current tax laws and is subject to change as per amendments made from time to time.

Your Master Product (Total Health Advantage) policy can be renewed automatically through standing instructions for payments to be made with your Citibank Credit Card/Citibank Account.

  • Expenses incurred, related to medical treatment as out patient shall be reimbursed as per plan selected. This can be towards a consultation/ pharmacy/diagnostic tests incurred in any clinic/hospital/diagnostic centre.
  • Upon your presenting the relevant bills/receipts in one go there shall be an assured settlement of claim.
  • Applicable for Gold and Platinum plan only.
  • Out Patient Dental Care : Reimbursement of expenses on Fillings and Crowns, Emergency Tooth Replacement, Non Cosmetic Oral Surgeries, Dental Xrays upto 5,000 once in 4 completed years with 25% copay.
  • Cost of Contact Lens, Spectacles and Hearing Aids : Reimbursement of expenses on Spectacles or Contact Lens or Hearing Aids upto 5,000 once in 4 completed years with 25% copay.
  • Applicable for Gold and Platinum plans only.
  • All your related expenses for up to 30 days before and up to 60 days after hospitalisation are reimbursed.
  • All your related expenses incurred towards Inpatient hospitalisation for a period more than 24-hours are reimbursed.

  • Should you wish to cancel your Master Product (Total Health Advantage) coverage, you can call 24-hour CitiPhone or write to Citibank.
  • You can also contact Royal Sundaram General Insurance Company through the contact details mentioned in the attached brochure.

You can make a claim under your Master Product (Total Health Advantage) coverage in two ways:

  • Get admitted to a hospital that is part of the Master Product (Total Health Advantage) network, call the 24-hours toll free helpline (1800-345-33-22) and take an authorisation at least 72-hours in advance. Thus you can avail of Master Product (Total Health Advantage) Cashless hospitalisation benefit. Royal Sundaram General Insurance Company will settle the bills directly with the hospital. In case of an emergency hospitalisation, call Third Party Administrator within 48-hours after being admitted to take the authorisation.
  • If you are admitted in any other hospital, send all your bills along with supporting documentation to Royal Sundaram. You will be reimbursed, if the claim is found to be admissible as per the policy Terms and conditions.
  • This plan,at inception, has a free look period of 15 days from the date of receipt of policy. On review of the policy Terms and conditions, If you are not satisfied with this plan, then you can cancel your plan within this 15 days free look period. You shall be eligible for a refund premium, after deducting applicable risk premium, less the cost of medical examination incurred by the Company and stamp duty charges, where applicable, provided your intimation of cancellation reach us within the free look period. Your policy documents will reach you within 15 days from the date of debit of your card / account.
  • In case you cancel your coverage after the free look period, refund of premium shall be as per the short period rates mentioned in the policy.

  • Entry age 91 days to 65 years.
  • Renewal for children up to 21 years of age & for others lifelong.

SECTION 41 OF THE INSURANCE ACT 1938 PROHIBITION OF REBATES
  1. No person shall allow or offer to allow, either directly or indirectly, as an inducement to any person to take out or renew or continue an Insurance in respect of any kind of risk relating to lives or property in India, any rebate of the whole or part of the commission payable or any rebate of the premium shown on the policy nor shall any person taking out or renewing or continuing a Policy accept any rebate, except such rebate as may be allowed in accordance with the published prospectus or tables of the Insurer.
  2. Any person making default in complying with the provisions of this section shall be liable for penalty which may extend to
    ten lakh rupees.
