No, all you need to do is visit www.citibank.com/india, choose 'EPay' and follow the instructions. You must have your Internet banking details like User ID or Password for your non-Citibank account you would like to make the payment from.
Currently this service is absolutely free!
Your Citibank Credit Card will be credited with the amount you authorised within 2 working days (excluding weekends and bank holidays).
Payments can be made only towards Credit Cards issued by Citibank. You can pay not only your own but any Citibank Credit Card using EPay, including add-on Cards.
We ask for the Card number twice to ensure accuracy. However, if a payment is made to a wrong Card number then please get in touch with our customer care team for resolution. You may send a mail to indiaservice@citicorp.com or call CitiPhone. We request you to check the Card number before authorising the payment.
After the payment is made, you will be shown an acknowledgment screen. This screen will contain a 'Status' title, which will display 'SUCCESS' in case of successful transactions and 'FAILURE' in case of failed transactions. This screen will also contain the transaction reference number. Please note this down and quote this in case of any transaction queries.
We are constantly trying to add more banks to this service. Please contact our customer care team at indiaservice@citicorp.com to request the addition of any bank, which is not currently a part of Citibank's EPay service.
