  1. Offer valid only if Card is swiped on a Citibank EDC & charge slip is that of Citibank.
  2. Citibank shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever that may be suffered, or for any personal injury that may be suffered, to a customer, directly or indirectly, by use or non-use of products/services under the offer.
  3. Offer cannot be combined with any other offer.
  4. Citibank reserves the right to extend or terminate this offer without prior notice.
  5. Citibank reserves the right at any time, without prior notice, to add/alter/modify/change or vary all of these Terms and Conditions or to replace wholly, or in part, this offer by another offer, whether similar to this offer or not, or to withdraw it altogether.
  6. This offer is only valid on payment with Citibank Platinum Credit Card issued in India only. Payment of fees/service charges/all other amounts due from the Cardmember to Citibank from usage of the Citibank Platinum Credit Card by the Cardmember under this offer and/or otherwise will be governed by Citibank Terms and Conditions and the Cardmember Agreement.

  1. These services are offered on referral and/or arrangement basis only through tie-up with respective service providers. Citibank is not providing any of these services directly and is not responsible for any deficiency in services including but not limited to any financial loss or otherwise. The list of services/offers listed is only representational and maybe withdrawn/modified by the service providers at their sole discretion. Customers will be required to bear any cost/charges levied by service providers directly.
  2. Offers are valid till 31st December, 2009 unless otherwise stated.
  3. Citibank & the participating merchants reserve the right to change or terminate the offers without prior notice.
  4. All offers are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash credit or kind.

Maruti Suzuki AutoCard Programme - Terms & Conditions

The Maruti Suzuki AutoCard Programme Terms and Conditions are to be read and understood in conjunction with the Citibank Cardmember Terms and Conditions. In case of conflict between any of these Terms and Conditions and the Citibank Cardmember Terms and Conditions, the Citibank Cardmember Terms and Conditions shall prevail.

Eligibility & Enrolment

  1. Membership of Maruti Suzuki AutoCard Rewards Programme is limited only to owners of any four-wheel vehicle manufactured by Maruti Udyog Ltd.
  2. Any person desirous of membership under Maruti Suzuki Rewards Programme shall be required to fill Application form and submit documents described therein. In case of furnishing of false, untrue or incomplete information, or non-submission of any document, Maruti Udyog Ltd. and Citibank N.A. reserve the right to accept or reject the Application and their decision with regard to such acceptance or rejection shall be final and binding and non-contestable.
  3. Maruti Udyog Ltd. and/or Citibank N.A. would not be responsible for any damaged/mutilated/lost-in-transit/incorrectly filled Applications. In all such cases the applicant would have to reapply for the Maruti Suzuki AutoCard.
  4. The Maruti Suzuki AutoCard Membership does not ensure any preferential treatment or additional privileges, other than those schemes/offers as announced for the benefit of the Maruti Suzuki AutoCard Members from time to time, for the Maruti Suzuki AutoCard Member at the Maruti Suzuki Authorised Dealers, Maruti Suzuki Authorised Service Station ("MASS") & IndianOil ("IOC") outlets.
  5. Maruti Udyog Ltd. and Citibank N.A. reserve the right to cancel the membership of any Maruti Suzuki AutoCard Member on account of non-adherence to the Maruti Suzuki AutoCard Rewards Programme Terms and Conditions and the Citibank Cardmember Terms and Conditions. In all such cases Maruti Udyog Ltd.'s and/or Citibank N.A.'s decision would be deemed final and binding.
  6. Maruti Udyog Ltd. or Citibank N.A. reserves the right to withdraw the benefits of the Maruti Suzuki AutoCard Rewards Programme and/or terminate the membership status of any Maruti Suzuki AutoCard Member without assigning any reason.
  7. Maruti Suzuki AutoCard Members who voluntarily choose to close the Maruti Suzuki AutoCard can use the benefits for a period of 45 days from the date of closure of the Maruti Suzuki AutoCard, post which period the said benefits will be withdrawn.
  8. The Maruti Suzuki AutoCard shall be the property of and be owned by Citibank N.A. for the purpose of issuance and financial transactions and the Maruti Suzuki AutoCard Member shall comply with and be bound by, applicable Citibank Terms and Conditions. The Maruti Suzuki AutoCard Member is required to obtain and understand the said Citibank Terms and Conditions. Usage of the Maruti Suzuki AutoCard shall be deemed an express acceptance of the said Citibank Terms and Conditions.

Card Usage/Points Earning

  1. All benefits related to the Maruti Suzuki AutoCard Programme would start from the date of issue of the Maruti Suzuki AutoCard and not from the date of the Application.
  2. Points would be credited to the Maruti Suzuki AutoCard Members only if they do transactions with their Maruti Suzuki AutoCard at Maruti Suzuki Authorised Dealers, MASS, Select IndianOil outlets or Citibank N.A. merchant establishments after the date of issue of the Maruti Suzuki AutoCard and during the validity period of the Maruti Suzuki AutoCard on presenting the Maruti Suzuki AutoCard at the time of settling the bills.
  3. The Maruti Suzuki AutoCard Programme Reward Points earned on transactions with the Maruti Suzuki AutoCard would be as per the procedure and guidelines described in the Users' Benefits & Usage Guide booklet. These procedures and guidelines shall be subject to change at any time at the sole discretion of Maruti Udyog Ltd. and Citibank N.A. and without any prior intimation to the Maruti Suzuki AutoCard Member. The valuation of the Auto Points and the rate at which these are allotted shall also be subject to change at any time at the sole discretion of Maruti Udyog Ltd. and Citibank N.A. and without any prior intimation to the Maruti Suzuki AutoCard Member.
  4. Maruti Udyog Ltd. and Citibank N.A. reserve right to change/alter/revoke the Reward Points given on each transaction with or without communicating it to the Maruti Suzuki AutoCard Members and Maruti Udyog Ltd.'s and Citibank N.A.'s decision would be final and binding.
  5. Maruti Udyog Ltd. and Citibank N.A. reserve the right to take decisions on the benefits accruing to the Maruti Suzuki AutoCard Members from the Maruti Suzuki AutoCard Programme Partners. These decisions would be binding on all Maruti Suzuki AutoCard Members.
  6. The Maruti Suzuki AutoCard, for the purposes of allocation and redemption of Auto Points, is acceptable only at select Maruti Suzuki Authorised Dealers and MASS in select cities. Should any Maruti Suzuki AutoCard Member move to a city where there is no dealer activated in the Maruti Suzuki AutoCard Programme, Maruti Udyog Ltd. and/or Citibank N.A. would bear no responsibility and would not be liable to cover for any loss of benefits that might accrue to the Maruti Suzuki AutoCard Member in such a case.
  7. Any Maruti Suzuki Authorised Dealer and/or MASS, in case of being eliminated from the Maruti Suzuki AutoCard Programme, would not be eligible to extend the benefits and rewards to its customers covered under the Maruti Suzuki AutoCard Programme. Should any Maruti Suzuki AutoCard Member continue to deal with such a dealer/authorised service station, Maruti Udyog Ltd. and/or Citibank N.A. would bear no responsibility and would not be liable to cover for any loss of benefits that might accrue to the Maruti Suzuki AutoCard Member in such a case.
  8. The allocation of Auto Points and acceptance of Petro vouchers shall take place at only those IndianOil outlets, which are participating in this Maruti Suzuki AutoCard Programme & only such transactions which have been swiped on a Citibank Electronic Data Capture (EDC) machine.
  9. Auto Points distributed by a Maruti Suzuki Authorised Dealer and/or MASS during any of the promotions/events organised at their end would be at their sole discretion. Maruti Udyog Ltd. and/or Citibank N.A. would bear no responsibility for the Auto Points being distributed in such events and or promotions.
  10. Maruti Udyog Ltd. and Citibank N.A. reserve the right to refuse referral points to Maruti Suzuki AutoCard Members should it feel that the transaction is not as per these Terms and Conditions or is vitiated by fraud, misrepresentation, cheating, forgery or any kind of concealment of facts and/or is done with an intention to bring about/commit the same. In all such cases, Maruti Udyog Ltd.'s and Citibank N.A.'s decision would be final and binding.
  11. Maruti Udyog Ltd. reserves the right to refuse Maruti Suzuki AutoCard Member referral points to bankers, financiers or mechanics that are professionally involved in selling or assist in selling cars even if they are Maruti Suzuki AutoCard Members. They would, however, be eligible for other benefits within the Maruti Suzuki AutoCard Programme.
  12. All insurance cases done through Maruti Suzuki AutoCard Programme would be subject to standard rules and regulations of IRDA.
  13. In the event of the Maruti Suzuki AutoCard membership being cancelled or put on hold due to any reason, the Maruti Suzuki AutoCard Member would not be eligible to get any Auto Points on the transactions done through the Maruti Suzuki AutoCard till the time his/her AutoCard membership is renewed. During such time, the Maruti Suzuki AutoCard Member would also not be eligible to participate in any of the lucky draws/events/schemes as organized by Maruti Udyog Ltd. under the Maruti Suzuki AutoCard Programme.
  14. Transfer of Auto Points amongst Maruti Suzuki AutoCard Members would not be allowed.

Point Redemptions

  1. Auto Points accrued during a particular transaction cannot be redeemed against the same transaction.
  2. Maruti Udyog Ltd. and/or Citibank N.A. does not provide any warranty and would make no representation in relation to the quality of the goods and services as would be provided by Maruti Suzuki AutoCard Programme Partners under the Maruti Suzuki AutoCard Programme and will not be responsible if the goods/services are defective/deficient/unsatisfactory in any way.
  3. Services redeemed against the Auto Points in the Maruti Suzuki AutoCard Programme, would not be replaceable or refundable in cash; neither could they be exchanged for any other alternative denominations.
  4. Services would be given on the basis of the total Reward Points that the Maruti Suzuki AutoCard Member would wish to redeem. In case the value of the service/Maruti Suzuki product requested for is more than the number of Reward Points redeemed, the Maruti Suzuki AutoCard Member would be required to pay for the differential amount through card or cash.
  5. Redemption of Reward Points against the insurance of a Maruti Suzuki vehicle would be subject to rules and regulations of IRDA.
  6. Maruti Udyog Ltd. is authorised to debit the account of a Maruti Suzuki AutoCard Member for any redemption, if credited incorrectly earlier and would accordingly inform the Maruti Suzuki AutoCard Member.
  7. Maruti Udyog Ltd. and Citibank N.A. reserve the right to cancel, change or substitute the rewards or the reward conditions or the Terms and Conditions for participating in the Maruti Suzuki AutoCard Rewards Programme, at any time without assigning any reason and without any prior notification.
  8. Maruti Udyog Ltd. and Citibank N.A. would bear no responsibility for any loss of whatever nature resulting from the usage of any gift item.
    The Auto Points can only be exchanged for the purchase of a new Maruti Suzuki vehicle or payment for services and spares purchased at Maruti Suzuki Authorised Network i.e. Maruti Suzuki Authorised Dealers and/or MASS. Maruti Udyog Ltd. allows only for limited exchange of Auto Points at the IndianOil outlets. Currently only those Auto Points may be redeemed that have been accumulated during transactions done at the IndianOil outlets within the first year of becoming a Maruti Suzuki AutoCard Member. Maruti Udyog Ltd. or Citibank or IndianOil reserves the right to add and/or alter, modify, change or vary all or any one of the rewards scheme at any time, without assigning any reason and without previous notice to Maruti Suzuki AutoCard Members.
  9. The Reward Points earned by the Maruti Suzuki AutoCard Member on the AutoCard would remain valid till 60 months (5 years) from the date of these accruing to the Maruti Suzuki AutoCard Member. Maruti Udyog Ltd. shall have a right to use the Auto Points that are not used by the Maruti Suzuki AutoCard Member within a period of 60 months (5 years) from the date of allocation of such Auto Points and such Reward Points shall be deemed to have lapsed as far as their use by such a Maruti Suzuki AutoCard Member is concerned. After this period of 60 months (5 years) the Auto Points and their equivalent Rupee value would become property of Maruti Udyog Ltd. and the Maruti Suzuki AutoCard Member shall have no right to claim any benefit under the same.

General Rules and Regulations

  1. The Maruti Suzuki AutoCard membership is non-transferable.
  2. On becoming a Maruti Suzuki AutoCard Rewards Programme Member, the applicant would authorise Maruti Udyog Limited and Citibank N.A. to use data submitted for marketing & Communication purposes, solely to enhance performance of the Maruti Suzuki AutoCard Rewards Programme.
  3. Maruti Udyog Ltd. and/or Citibank N.A. shall not, in any way, be liable, or be under any obligation to the participant, if the Maruti Suzuki AutoCard Programme is withdrawn or modified due to statutory enactments and judicial/quasi judicial orders.
  4. The decisions with regard to the levy of the annual fees/other charges on the Maruti Suzuki AutoCard would be taken by Citibank N.A. at its sole discretion and would be according to Citibank N.A. Terms and Conditions.
  5. Maruti Udyog Ltd. and/or Citibank N.A. would be authorised to take any administrative and/or legal action against the Maruti Suzuki AutoCard Member in the event of the Maruti Suzuki AutoCard Member carrying out and/or attempting to carry out any fraud, misrepresentation, cheating, forgery, any kind of concealment of facts or abuse of the Maruti Suzuki AutoCard or of the rewards and benefits from the Maruti Suzuki AutoCard Rewards Programme. This shall include forfeiture of the accumulated points and related rewards and could even result in the cancellation of the Maruti Suzuki AutoCard Membership.
  6. Maruti Udyog Ltd. reserves the right to add and/or alter, modify, change or vary all or any one of the Maruti Suzuki AutoCard Programme Terms and Conditions at any time, without assigning any reason and without previous notice to Maruti Suzuki AutoCard Members.
  7. All questions or disputes regarding eligibility for participating in the Maruti Suzuki AutoCard Rewards Programme, shall be resolved by Maruti Udyog Ltd. and/or Citibank N.A. limited at their sole discretion and shall be final and binding on the Maruti Suzuki AutoCard Member. All questions or disputes regarding eligibility for accrual or redemption of Reward Points, shall be resolved solely by Maruti Udyog Ltd. at its sole discretion and shall be final and binding on the Maruti Suzuki AutoCard Member. Citibank shall bear no liability or responsibility for the accrual or redemption of the Reward Points awarded by MUL or its dealers.
  8. Failure on part of Maruti Udyog Ltd. and/or Citibank N.A. to enforce a particular Term or Condition does not constitute a waiver of that Term or Condition by Maruti Udyog Ltd.
  9. The Programme Terms and Conditions contained herein and the Citibank Cardmember Terms and Conditions all constitute a binding agreement on the Maruti Suzuki AutoCard Member and shall be governed by the laws of India.
  10. In all matters/disputes arising out of the Application and the Terms and Conditions contained herein, the competent Courts in Delhi alone shall have exclusive jurisdiction to the exclusion of all other Courts.

Click an EMI - Terms & Conditions

In these Terms and Conditions, the following terms shall have the following meanings:

  1. "Credit Card" shall mean an unexpired Credit Card issued by Citibank India/Diners India.
  2. "Cardmember" shall mean the holder of a Credit Card.
  3. "Loan On Phone or LOP" shall mean a loan on the Credit Card that can be availed up to the cash line, credit line or over and above the credit line.
  4. "Balance Transfer" shall mean a loan on the Credit Card availed to repay outstanding balances on a Credit Card of any other Bank/Financial Institution.
  5. "Dial/Click-an-EMI" shall mean a product wherein purchase(s) above Rs. 2,500 are converted into equal installments at a rate as communicated at the time of availing the product.
  6. "Loan" shall mean the amount lent by the Bank to the Cardmember under the Loan On Phone or Balance Transfer products.
  7. "Top-Ups" shall mean new loans availed by closing the previous ones and with an incremental amount disbursed, over and above the previous outstanding.

The present Terms and Conditions are to be read in conjunction with, and not in derogation of, the Cardmember Agreement and nothing contained herein shall prejudice or affect the Terms and Conditions of the Cardmember Agreement.

Unless otherwise specified, the words and expressions used herein shall have the same meaning as in the Cardmember Agreement.

Encashment and Free look period

The Loan shall be deemed to be availed of by the Cardmember only on the date of encashment of the Bank Demand Draft (DD).

The DD is valid for a period of 30 days from the date of issuance. The billing of Equated Monthly Installments (EMIs) shall commence only post encashment of the DD.

In the event of non-encashment within the said 30 days, the DD shall be canceled and no charges shall be levied towards this transaction.

In the event, the DD is issued against another bank (hereinafter referred to as a "DAO"), the Loan shall be considered to be availed of, from the date of draft issuance.

The DAO is valid for a period of 180 days.

In the event the DAO is not encashed within the said 180 days, it shall be canceled and charges levied from the date of issuance till expiry of said 180 days shall be reversed. Such reversal shall be reflected in your Credit Card statement.

Billing and repayment

For Loan On Phone, the first EMI shall be billed on the first billing date for the Credit Card, that falls post the date of encashment of the DD (except for DAOs, as specified herein).

For Loan On Phone Top-Ups shall be deemed to be availed from the date of issuance of the fresh DD. The first EMI shall always be billed on the first billing date for the Credit Card, that falls after the date of issuance of the Bank Demand Draft. Transaction fee (as specified herein) shall be levied on the incremental amount disbursed.

For DAO's, the first EMI shall be billed on the first billing date for the Credit Card, that falls after the date of issuance of the Bank Demand Draft.

All billing of EMIs in the subsequent months shall be on the billing date of the Credit Card for that month.

The EMI amount shall be included as a part of the minimum amount due appearing in the Cardmember's monthly Credit Card Statement. Charges as communicated in the Most Important Terms and Conditions and Cardmember Agreement shall be applicable/levied on the minimum amount due.

For Loan On Phone availed against the Credit Line, the Credit Limit on the Cardmember's Credit Card shall be blocked to the extent of the Loan amount. The Credit Limit shall be released as and when the EMI is billed and paid for, in subsequent months. For Loans availed above the Credit Line, the EMI shall be treated as a normal purchase/spend on the Cardmember's Credit Card and as per the terms specified in the Cardmember Agreement.

Interest Calculation Methodology on EMI products

Interest rates as communicated at the time of availing of the product(s) shall be levied/applicable. The applicable rates shall also be mentioned on the Bank Demand Draft advice slip.

The interest component for the first installment shall be computed from the issuance/encashment date to the first billing date for the Credit Card. For all subsequent installments, the interest shall be computed on monthly rests and the installment shall be debited to the Credit Card on the date of each monthly bill.

As a result of the computation above, it is possible that the first EMI may be for an amount lesser than the standard EMI amount communicated to you, depending on the date of encashment.

Service Charges on Card balances

If the amount paid towards dues on the Credit Card is less than the Total Amount Due, Service Charges shall be levied on such outstandings (including but not limited to the EMI as above), as per the interest rate applicable and communicated in the Most Important Terms and Conditions (MITC) and Cardmember Agreement. This rate is subject to change with prior notice. The applicable interest rate shall be mentioned on the monthly Statement.

Other Charges

A one-time transaction fee shall be charged for every Loan/Dial/Click-an-EMI product facility. This amount shall be billed to the monthly Card Statement.

  1. Transaction fee on Loan - 1.95% or Rs. 200 (whichever is higher)
  2. Transaction fee on Balance Transfer - 1.5% or Rs. 200 (whichever is higher)

Prepayment process and related charges

The Loan/Dial/Click-an-EMI products can be pre-closed by calling 24-Hour CitiPhone.

Any payment made into the Credit Card Account over and above the EMI shall not be deemed to be payment towards the amount availed under LOP/Balance Transfer/Dial/Click-an-EMI and shall not be deemed as closure of the said facility.

Any preclosure of LOP/Balance Transfer/Dial/Click-an-EMI shall attract Prepayment charges at the rate of 3% on the outstanding principal amount. Citibank reserves the right to revise the prepayment charges at its discretion, with prior notice and such revised charges shall be binding on the Cardmember.

Once the LOP/Balance Transfer/Dial/Click-an-EMI is preclosed, for any reason, all outstandings including but not limited to the principal outstanding, preclosure charge and the interest for the actual number of days till closure i.e. from the last billing date till the date of closure shall be debited to the Credit Card.

Preclosure due to non-payment

In the event of non-payment of the minimum amount due for three successive months, the LOP/Balance Transfer/Dial/Click-an-EMI shall be pre-closed and the principal outstanding, the interest for the days till closure and the preclosure charges shall be debited to the Credit Card Account and appear in the subsequent monthly statement. Citibank shall be entitled to demand immediate repayment of such consolidated outstanding amounts.

Preclosure due to Card closure

In the event the Credit Card is closed prior to all EMI(s) being charged the loan outstanding and any applicable charges, as on the date of closure of the Credit Card shall be debited to the Credit Card Account as a consolidated amount. Citibank shall be entitled to demand immediate repayment of such consolidated outstanding amounts.

Additional Terms and Conditions for Dial-An-EMI (DAE)

A Cardmember may opt to convert any purchase of Rs. 2,500 or above into Equated Monthly Installments (EMIs), before the payment due date.

Final approval of such conversion shall be at the sole discretion of Citibank India and is subject to the performance on the Credit Card.

In the event the Credit Card is closed prior to all installments being charged, the amount outstanding (against the DAE) shall be debited to the Credit Card Account as a consolidated amount. Citibank shall be entitled to demand immediate repayment of such consolidated outstanding amounts.

The applicable interest rate ranges from 18% to 26%. The EMI shall be computed on a monthly reducing balance.

A one-time fee of 2.5% on the Loan amount or Rs. 200 (whichever is higher) is applicable as processing charges.

A maximum of ten concurrent transactions are permitted to be converted into Click/Dial-an-EMI, on each Primary Credit Card, at any point of time.

The Credit Limit on the Credit Card shall be blocked to the extent of the full transaction amount. The Credit Limit will be released as and when the EMI is billed and paid for in subsequent months.

Reward Points earned, if any, as per features applicable to the Credit Card for the purchase sought to be converted into
Dial/Click-an-EMI will be reversed on conversion and shall be credited back in proportion to the EMIs billed, each month.

Other Terms and Conditions

Service Tax, as notified by the Government of India, is applicable on all fees, interest and other charges and is subject to change as per relevant regulations of the Government of India.

Nothing contained herein should be construed as an obligation on Citibank to offer the above-mentioned products.

Citibank reserves the right at anytime, with previous notice, to add, alter, modify, change or vary all or any of these Terms and Conditions or to replace wholly. Citibank reserves the right to modify all interest from time to time, at its sole discretion with prior notice.

Loan on your Credit Card - Terms & Conditions

In these Terms and Conditions, the following terms shall have the following meanings:

In the event, the DD is issued against another bank (hereinafter referred to as a "DAO"), the Loan shall be considered to have been availed of, from the date of issuance of the said DAO.

DAO is valid for a period of 180 days.

In the event the DAO is not encashed within the said 180 days, it shall be cancelled and charges levied from the date of issuance till expiry of said 180 days shall be reversed. Such reversal shall be reflected in your Credit Card statement.

Billing and Repayment

For Loan On Phone, the first EMI shall be billed on the first billing date for the Credit Card, that falls post the date of encashment of the DD (except for DAOs, as specified herein).

Loan On Phone Top-Ups shall be deemed to be availed from the date of issuance of the fresh DD. The first EMI shall always be billed on the first billing date for the Credit Card that falls after the date of issuance of the DD. Interest rate as communicated at the time of availing of the Loan On Phone Top-up shall be levied/applicable on the entire Loan amount including the old Loan principle outstanding resulting in the re-pricing of the old Loan principle outstanding also at the new Interest rate of the Loan On Phone Top-up but Transaction fee (as specified herein) shall be levied only on the incremental amount disbursed. The old Loan will get pre-closed and the new Loan On Phone Top-up will be booked for the entire loan amount at the new interest rate for the new tenure. When the old Loan is pre-closed the interest for the actual number of days till closure i.e., from the last billing date till the date of closure shall be debited to the Credit Card.

For DAO's, the first EMI shall be billed on the first billing date for the Credit Card, that falls after the date of issuance of the DD.

All billing of EMIs in the subsequent months shall be on the billing date of the Credit Card for that month.

The EMI amount shall be included as a part of the minimum amount due appearing in the Cardmember's monthly Credit Card Statement. Charges as communicated in the Most Important Terms and Conditions and detailed Citibank Cardmember Terms and Conditions shall be applicable/levied on the minimum amount due.

For Loan On Phones availed against the Credit Line the Credit Limit on the Cardmember's Credit Card shall be blocked to the extent of the Loan amount. The Credit Limit shall be released as and when the EMI is billed and paid for, in subsequent months. For Loans availed above the Credit Line, the EMI shall be treated as a normal purchase/spend on the Cardmember's Credit Card and as per the terms specified in the detailed Citibank Cardmember Terms and Conditions.

Interest Calculation Methodology on EMI Products

Interest rates as communicated at the time of availing of the product(s) shall be levied/applicable. The applicable rates shall also be mentioned on the DD advice slip.

For Top-ups, the old loan shall be closed and the new interest rate, as communicated at the time of availing the offer and as mentioned on the DD advice slip, shall be applicable to the consolidated Loan amount.

The interest component for the first installment shall be computed from the issuance/encashment date to the first billing date for the Credit Card. For all subsequent installments, the interest shall be computed on monthly rests and the installment shall be debited to the Credit Card on the date of each monthly bill.

As a result of the computation above, it is possible that the first EMI may be for an amount lesser than the standard EMI amount communicated to you, depending on the date of encashment.

Service Charges on Card Balances

If the amount paid towards dues on the Credit Card is less than the Total Amount Due, Service Charges shall be levied on such outstandings (including but not limited to the EMI as above), as per the interest rate applicable and communicated in the Most Important Terms and Conditions (MITC) and detailed Citibank Cardmember Terms and Conditions. This rate is subject to change with prior notice. The applicable interest rate shall be mentioned on the monthly Statement.

Other Charges

A one-time transaction fee shall be charged for every Loan/Dial/Click-an-EMI product facility. This amount shall be billed to the monthly Card Statement.

  1. Transaction fee on Loan - 2.5% or Rs. 300 (whichever is higher)
  2. Transaction fee on Balance Transfer - 1.5% or Rs. 200 (whichever is higher)

Pre-payment Process and Related Charges

The Loan/Dial/Click-an-EMI products can be pre-closed by calling 24-Hour CitiPhone. Any payment made into the Credit Card account over and above the EMI shall not be deemed to be payment towards the amount availed under LOP/Balance Transfer/ Dial/Click-an-EMI and shall not be deemed as closure of the said facility.

Any preclosure of LOP/Balance Transfer/Dial/Click-an-EMI shall attract prepayment charges at the rate of 3% on the outstanding principal amount. Citibank reserves the right to revise the prepayment charges at its discretion, with prior notice and such revised charges shall be binding on the Cardmember.

Once the LOP/Balance Transfer/Dial/Click-an-EMI is pre-closed, for any reason, all outstandings including but not limited to the principal outstanding, pre-closure charge and the interest for the actual number of days till closure i.e., from the last billing date till the date of closure shall be debited to the Credit Card.

Pre-closure due to Non-payment

In the event of non-payment of the Minimum Amount Due for three successive months, the LOP/Balance Transfer/Dial/Click-an-EMI shall be pre-closed and the principal outstanding, the interest for the days till closure and the pre-closure charges shall be debited to the Credit Card account and appear in the subsequent monthly statement. Citibank shall be entitled to demand immediate repayment of such consolidated outstanding amounts.

Pre-closure due to Card Closure

In the event the Credit Card is closed prior to all EMI(s) being charged the Loan outstanding and any applicable charges, as on the date of closure of the Credit Card shall be debited to the Credit Card account as a consolidated amount. Citibank shall be entitled to demand immediate repayment of such consolidated outstanding amounts.

Additional Terms and Conditions for Dial-an-EMI (DAE)

A Cardmember may opt to convert any purchase of Rs. 2,500 or above EMIs, before the payment due date.

Final approval of such conversion shall be at the sole discretion of Citibank and is subject to the performance on the Credit Card.

In the event the Credit Card is closed prior to all installments being charged, the amount outstanding (against the DAE) shall be debited to the Credit Card account as a consolidated amount. Citibank shall be entitled to demand immediate repayment of such consolidated outstanding amounts.

The applicable interest rate ranges from 18% to 26%. The EMI shall be computed on a monthly reducing balance.

A one-time fee of 2.5% on the Loan amount or Rs. 200 (whichever is higher) is applicable as processing charges.

A maximum of ten concurrent transactions are permitted to be converted into Click/Dial-an-EMI, on each Primary Credit Card, at any point of time.

The Credit Limit on the Credit Card shall be blocked to the extent of the full transaction amount. The Credit Limit will be released as and when the EMI is billed and paid for in subsequent months.

Other Terms and Conditions

EMI payments shall not earn any Reward Points.

Note that Loans availed under Credit Card cannot be used for business purposes and for speculative or trading purposes such as shares and short term investments like KVP, PPF, NSC, Mutual Funds, Fixed Deposits, RBI Bond, ULIP etc.

Service Tax, as notified by the Government of India, is applicable on all fees, interest and other charges and is subject to change as per relevant regulations of the Government of India.

Nothing contained herein should be construed as an obligation on Citibank to offer the above-mentioned products.

Citibank reserves the right at anytime, with previous notice, to add, alter, modify, change or vary all or any of these Terms and Conditions or to replace wholly. Citibank reserves the right to modify all interest from time to time, at its sole discretion with prior notice.

Mandatory Standing Instruction for Credit Card

By accepting and activating the Card, it is deemed that you have authorised the debit of your Suvidha Account towards minimum amount due and Terms and Conditions thereof. Citibank shall have a particular lien on all credit balances in your Citibank Account. Citibank shall be entitled to adjust and appropriate all such credit balances towards settling of the balance outstanding from time to time in your Credit Card Account and for this purpose is authorised to effect a debit in to your Suvidha Salary Account after this notice to you. In case you desire to close your Citibank Account, Citibank may at its discretion close the Card Account, unless you provide to Citibank, adequate alternate security to secure the balance outstanding from time to time in your Card Account. In case you cease to remain in employment of your current employer/company, Citibank may, at it's option, close the Card Account and exercise it's right under the first clause above. You also understand that you need to ensure that your said Account needs to be funded with the appropriate amount to enable the bank to carry out the Standing Instruction. You agree to keep the bank fully indemnified and held harmless at all times, from and against all claims, expenses, losses, damages, costs (including reasonable attorney's fees), actions, suits and proceedings arising due to non-execution or delays in execution of your Standing Instruction either on account of
non-availability of sufficient funds in your Account or due to delays in the mail/courier service or for any other reason beyond the control of the bank.

Turn your Reward Points into Fuel - Terms and Conditions

  1. The service is applicable for transactions greater than Rs. 250 at select IndianOil outlets.
  2. The Cardholder should have registered his mobile number with us to make use of this service.
  3. The redemption request will be considered against the transaction amount with the auth code only. Partial redemption is not allowed on these transactions.
  4. The Cardmember should have accumulated a minimum of 500 Reward Points before redemption can happen.
  5. The Cardmember has to send the SMS to 52484 within 24 hours of the transaction.
  6. The Reward Point conversion is 2.5 Reward Points = Re. 1 of fuel.
  7. The Reward Point redemption rate can be changed from time to time at the sole discretion of Citibank.
  8. The transaction should have happened on a Citibank EDC terminal only. The Cardmember should insist on getting a Citibank charge slip.
  9. This service is open only to Citibank Cardmembers holding a valid Citibank Master International Gold and Silver Card; Citibank Visa International Gold and Silver Card; Citibank Master Silver Card and Citibank Visa Silver Card.
  10. No redemption of Citibank Reward Points will be permissible if, on the relevant date
    1. The Card has been withdrawn or cancelled or is liable to be cancelled.
    2. Any of the accounts of the Citibank Cardmember is a delinquent account.
    3. There is any breach of any clause of the Terms and Conditions of the Cardmember Agreement.
