Citibank now offers you the most convenient way to bank on the move - Citi Mobile. Citi Mobile works on your mobile phone and is a simple, secure and fast way to transact 24 x 7 from the comfort of your home, office or even from your car!

Citi Mobile is currently available for Suvidha/Banking and Credit Card Customers.

To use Citi Mobile all you need is a java-enabled mobile phone with a GPRS connection. What's more, Citi Mobile works with your 16-digit Debit/Credit Card number and existing IPIN and allows you to view account details, transfer funds, pay bills, place online requests and much more.

Citi Mobile is now available on Windows Mobile (Windows ver. 6.0 and above) & Apple iPhone handsets.

Citi Mobile is now available on your Apple iPhone also. You can access Citi Mobile on your iPhone browser, by carrying out the following steps:

  • SMS MBANK < last 4 digits of Debit / Credit Card > to 52484
  • Click on the URL sent to you in the response SMS. You will be redirected to the login page
  • Bookmark the login page. Use your Debit / Credit Card No. and I-PIN to access

*Currently, as per RBI Mobile Banking Guidelines, you can transfer up to Rs. 5,000 per day across linked account transfers,
account-to-account transfers and NEFT, and make payments up to Rs. 10,000 per day across bill payments and Credit Card payments.

How to get started?

SMS MBANK followed by the last 4 digits of your Debit/Credit Card number to 52484.
For e.g., if the last 4 digits of your Debit Card number are 4000, then you should send an
SMS - MBANK 4000 to 52484

You can also request for Citi Mobile from your Citibank Online account. Login at www.citibank.com/india with your card number and password, click on the Banking/Credit Card top panel and then click on "Register for Citi Mobile" on the left navigation panel.

You will soon receive a reply SMS from Citibank with the download URL for Citi Mobile

Ensure your GPRS connection is working and click on the URL in the SMS

You will be taken to a WAP page which will ask for your mobile number. Enter your mobile number and click 'Continue'

*Please note that standard GPRS rates will apply for download and use of Citi Mobile. Please contact your telecom service provider for applicable rates

Security

No information is stored on your mobile phone or SIM card. So even if your phone is lost or stolen, your account is absolutely safe and cannot be compromised. In addition, you can call customer service and report your phone as stolen and we will deactivate your IPIN and issue you a fresh IPIN.
Citi Mobile offers you the same unparalleled level of security as Citibank Online

Only you can login to your account with your Citibank Debit/Credit Card and your confidential IPIN (Internet PIN)

All account information is 128-bit SSL protected

All Card and account numbers or other sensitive information is masked when displayed on Citi Mobile

If IPIN (Internet Password) is entered incorrectly for six consecutive times,
Citi Mobile will block usage of your IPIN

Please report the loss of mobile phone to the bank so that we may disable the IPIN and access to your account through Citi Mobile
