You will also require One-Time PIN (OTP) to view details of your Citibank NRI Dollar Checking Account and do transactions in the account. OTP can be received via SMS on the Mobile No. registered in your account or can be generated through Online Security Device (OSD)

* The 16-digit Card number used is the ATM card number issued on your Citibank NRI Dollar Checking Account or the Virtual Card number issued for Internet banking access on your base account.

Please note that the checkbook will be issued in the names as mentioned in the same order of account holding pattern as your base account with us.

You can access the funds in your Dollar Checking Account through:

• Leaving instructions online to transfer funds
• ATM card

• Note: Cash withdrawal / deposits over the counter/bearer transactions are not allowed in Citibank NRI Dollar Checking Account.

Please note that the checkbooks issued will be of the Either - Or account type i.e., the check issued will be valid provided any one account holder signs on the check.

A Dollar Check issued to a third party beneficiary will take an estimated two weeks to clear and may take longer depending on the routing bank's processes.

You can use this International ATM Card at any Citibank/Visa ATM worldwide.

The cash withdrawal limit for Citigold clients is USD 5,000 per day. For non-Citigold customers, the limit is USD 1,000 per day.

Please contact any of the Citibank NRI Business Centers to report the loss or theft of your Card (contact details are listed at the back of the ATM card). Your ATM card will be disabled, and a new Card will be re-issued.

You will soon receive the A-PIN (ATM Code) through a separate mail for your Dollar Checking Account International ATM Card. You will be able to check the balance in your account and withdraw cash at ATMs using your ATM card and A-PIN.

Banks in Singapore are adopting a series of additional measures to strengthen the security of ATM Cards and Debit Cards that are linked to customer's Savings or Current Account.

From 1 July 2012 onwards, all new, renewal and replacement Cards can only be used after customers have contacted their Banks to activate the usage of these cards.

If you are residing outside Singapore: If you or any holders in the your account(s) need to activate your DCA ATM card for usage, you/they will be required to send a letter to your nearest NRI service centre to activate the DCA ATM card.

For Clients residing in Singapore: If you or any holders in the account(s) need to activate your DCA ATM card for usage, you/they will be required to send a letter to your nearest NRI service centre to activate the card.

You will additionally need to confirm if you would like to have your DCA ATM card activated for overseas ATM usage for cash withdrawals (outside Singapore).

If you or any holders in the base account relocate to Singapore at a later date, the overseas usage (cash withdrawal facility) on your/their DCA ATM card will be de-activated and you/they will be required to send a letter to the nearest NRI service centre requesting to activate such service on their DCA ATM cards.
