Chip protection: Your Citi Platinum Select Card comes embedded with a special chip that minimises chances of Card duplication and thereby reducing its fraudulent misuse.
Enhanced Lost Card Liability Cover
Should you lose your Card, you are covered from the liability of any purchases or cash withdrawals on the Card for up to Rs. 1,50,000. Liability cover period is from 96 hours prior to reporting of loss to Citibank.
Conditions:
- Coverage under the policy would commence on the 1st day of the month subsequent to the month in which the Cardmember receives the Card
- This complimentary insurance cover is available only to the Primary Cardmember. Cardmember will be issued a policy document by the Insurance Company viz New India Assurance Co. Ltd. within 15 days from the date of commencement of coverage
- For the purpose of this coverage, the following details would be shared with the insurance provider i.e., New India Assurance Ltd.,
viz - Card number, name and residence address - To keep this cover active, please ensure your Card is open and in good standing (at least the Minimum Amount Due is paid by the Payment Due Date)
